How to setup Heroku Postgres?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Setting up a Postgres in Heroku is pretty straight forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Click on the menu dropdown on your right and select Dashboard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Click on New<\/strong> menu dropdown and select Create new app<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Install Heroku Postgres as add-on here<\/a> and click Install Heroku Postgres<\/strong> button<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Select Add on plan and select the app that you have just created at step 2 for App to provision to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Go back to your account and click on the menu and select Data<\/strong> and click on the database name created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Navigate to Settings <\/strong>and click on View Credentials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
